Authors

This site has a single author, and that is deliberate. Four pages about one crash game do not need a newsroom; they need one person who reads every figure the same way, checks it against more than one source and writes down where the sources part company.

An Indian woman in her thirties at a wooden desk in soft morning light, seen in three-quarter view, resting a pencil on a closed paper notebook, a laptop in front of her whose screen is near-black with a thin crimson line rising and the single word "Sources" in large white type at the top

What a round pays, in rupees

Rukmini Chitnis

Rukmini Chitnis writes about what crash games return and what that means in rupees. On this site she covers the Astronaut return figure and why sources disagree on it, the chance behind each cash-out point, how sign-in to a lobby works, and how the welcome pack treats a high-return crash title.

Her working rule is simple: a number goes on the page only with its source, and when two sources give two numbers, both go on the page. Approximations — such as the chance of a round reaching 5x — are labelled as approximations, with the formula next to them, so a reader can redo the sum for any other target.

How pages are kept current

Each page shows the date it was last changed under its title. When a lobby changes a term or a better source for a figure appears, the page is edited and the date moves with it. Corrections from readers go to the address in the footer.
